Food Quality Assurance Manager – outstanding career opportunity working with one of the leaders in chilled food manufacturing.
How often do we adopt a strategic approach to our personal and professional lives in the same way we might do in a work situation? If you’re thinking about a long-term career strategy, this role provides the ideal launch pad, providing access to opportunities at this site and across the wider Group.
This newly created role is with a recognised leader in chilled food manufacturing. They achieved this recognition through setting consistently high standards, where you’ll be working for one of the best. The variety, scope, and potential this role offers are right up there. With exposure to the customers and suppliers, your knowledge base will expand quickly.
An understanding of the customer codes of practice and quality standards will enable you to support the Technical Manager in customer audits; your approach is to foster an audit ready culture at all times.
You’ll need at least three years’ technical experience, ideally within a short shelf life, complex chilled food category. Heading up the QA team, you understand what good looks like, coaching your team to make everyone accountable, identifying talent, providing coaching and support to help others progress.
Shift pattern is Tuesday – Saturday 8am – 4.30pm. It doesn’t mean you lose your Saturday night; you can be at your friend’s summer BBQ by 6pm! And as with most food technical roles, there is the need for occasional flexibility depending on business demands. Due to the site location, a driving licence is essential.
Please note: you must be eligible to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.
