As our Homelessness Prevention Personal Advisor, you will be responsible for working alongside young people’s allocated Personal Advisors, offering direct and indirect interventions enabling young people to make informed choices and to support to access suitable and sustainable accommodation. This will involve contributing to individual Pathway Plans where appropriate.
Personal Advisors provide advice, assistance and support to our care leavers, helping them to prepare for independent living and to achieve their wishes and goals for the future.

You will be the lead link with our Housing partners to ensure a cohesive approach to meeting the housing needs of our young people. Your role will also involve ensuring all our Care Leavers are able to access the local offer, particularly in relation to housing needs.

You will be committed to working with young people from diverse backgrounds, who will have diverse needs, promoting good outcomes for all our care leavers. You will be passionate about working with care experienced young people, and you have a clear understanding about the multiple barriers that our young people can face as they navigate their way to independence.
