We’re on the hunt for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Store Associate to support the Cowbridge Store Manager.

We’re proud to be among the top surf stores in the UK with a growing online retail business to boot. We’re expanding by opening a new Surf and Snow store in Cowbridge, South Wales.

About you:
We're seeking a keen and motivated individual, who has an interest in the surfing lifestyle and community, to join our retail team at the new Tiki Surf store in Cowbridge. Previous experience working in a retail environment would be an advantage but not essential, as full product training and shop system training will be given.
The successful candidate should be both confident in engaging with customers and have a genuine interest in promoting our products through sales.
The candidate will also be required to support the Store Manager in the day-to-day store operations, including merchandising and stock inventory, locking up and key responsibilities, and maintaining the shop opening in the Manager's absence.

Responsibilities:
* Opening and running the store in the absence of the Store Manager
* Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store including, opening and securely closing the store, cashing up and other key responsibilities including alarm call out response.
* Driving customer service through team engagement and use of product expertise to build a strong and loyal customer base
* Visual merchandising, product and brand launches in line with company direction
* Assist the Store Manager in organising, planning, and implementing our vision and purpose
* Support the Store Manager in managing stock inventory, completing deliveries and general maintenance of stock and replenishment
* Ensuring the store is always tidy and uncluttered
* Keeping your knowledge up to date on all products sold in store and learn about technical equipment that we stock that you aren't familiar with
* Attending to customers giving technical advice on products providing a personalised customer experience
* Be aware of daily sales target and work towards achieving the budget set and collecting customer data
* Oversight of junior members of the team helping to create positive and engaging workspace where tasks are completed, and it is welcoming for customers.
