Learning Support Assistant to start from April 2025, working appx 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8.40am–15.20pm, 39 weeks per year.
Salary Range XCET PS3.2 - £23,576.00 Full Time Equivalent.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong candidate to support teaching and learning at St Edmund’s Catholic Primary School in Godalming.
The position would suit someone either looking to move on to a career in teaching, or committed to the role of Learning Support Assistant.
We are looking for applicants who:
* Have a determination to make a difference in the children’s progress and development
* Are self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed to getting the best outcomes for our children
* Have the ability to work as part of a team as well as through their initiative
* Have good English and Maths skills/knowledge (GCSE Equivalent)
* Have high expectations of themselves and the children they work with, including promoting independence where possible.
* Will preferably have experience supporting children within the classroom with accessing learning.
