This project is a critical part of a long-term clean-up programme aimed at safely managing and storing hazardous materials. The plant will play a vital role in encasing waste in concrete for secure, long-term storage in a modern facility. The project involves processing waste from several legacy sites that are prioritized for decommissioning.
The project team will deliver a facility that meets contractual requirements, ensuring the safe and efficient conditioning of waste from donor sites, while satisfying stakeholder needs and project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide management support by coordinating and monitoring access to rooms nearing completion.
* Control all access to rooms, ensuring they are left in a safe, clean, and organized condition to support the coordination of tasks, trade disciplines, and inspections.
* Conduct room-by-room reviews to identify remaining work scope and ensure tasks are completed accordingly.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Ability to manage and coordinate multiple interfaces with various trades and subcontractor teams simultaneously.
* Clear, decisive, and collaborative communicator, capable of providing informative updates.
* Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to create, monitor, and report using these tools.
* IOSH Working Safely certification.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience in multidiscipline coordination.
* Ability to obtain BPSS clearance, a P4 pass, and meet other client security requirements
