Key Responsibilities:
1. Conducting regular inspections of products and materials to ensure adherence to quality standards
2. Identifying defects and coordinating necessary corrective actions with production teams
3. Maintaining detailed documentation of inspections, findings, and corrective measures
4. Collaborating with engineering and production teams to develop and implement quality control processes
5. Monitoring compliance with safety and regulatory standards within the production environment
6. Facilitating continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency
7. Providing feedback and recommendations to management regarding quality issues
8. Ensuring proper use and maintenance of quality control equipment
Job Requirements:
1. Experience in quality control engineering within the manufacturing sector
2. Understanding of quality control techniques and industry standards
3. Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
5. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation

This opportunity is being offered on a 3-6 months rolling contract basis but, depending on work volumes, could become permanent for the right person.
Hours:
38.75 basic per week
7am - 4.45pm (Monday to Thursday)
7am - 12.30pm (Friday)
Salary:
Up to £14.50 per hour (Depending on experience)
