Job Role Project Manager Reports to: Senior Project Manager Director Description A key role in the business, the projects team are responsible for the delivery of project works to new and existing customers. With a focus on end-to-end project delivery, and a high level of involvement with customers, the Projects Teams support our works from the initial enquiry, scoping, quoting, delivery and handover. Coming from a background with a high level of technical and engineering experience, the Projects Team also provide support to other parts of the business’ operations. Key Skills Technical background in CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm, Life Safety & Emergency Systems Knowledge of installation, commissioning, and project delivery. Time Management Written and Verbal Communication Skills Management Skills Health & Safety Awareness IT Awareness – Especially with regards to email, Office 365 etc Desirable Skills IT/Networking Knowledge MS Project Knowledge CDM Knowledge Project Cost awareness including P and L. Value Engineering experience. Operations experience. Primary Roles & Responsibilities Design Systems and Prepare Quotations for Customer Requirements Manage Customer Relationships Provide Technical Leadership and Support to Engineering & Service Teams Manage Projects and Project Teams (Installation Engineers & Contractors, Commissioning Engineers, Client Interface) Detailed Duties Design Systems and Prepare Quotations for Customer Requirements Receive tender/quote requests from clients and respond accordingly. Prepare technical system designs. Work with internal team and external contractors to identify costs for installation. Prepare and submit quotations including all of the above. Manage Customer Relationships Maintain relationships with customers, through electronic communications, emails and site meetings. Ensure customer requests are dealt with in a timely fashion. Where appropriate, provide feedback to customers on their account, systems and projects. Support customers with technical matters. Provide Technical Leadership and Support to Engineering & Service Teams Assist Engineers with faults, installation methods, and on-site coordination. Assist Service Team with fault allocation, job allocation and other technical matters. Manage Projects and Project Teams Raise Orders to suppliers and contractors for project works. Prepare RAMS, Construction Drawings (with support from CAD/BIM Engineers, Schematics, Technical Submittals & other project related paperwork. Prepare and maintain construction programmes. Attend site and progress meetings. Audit installed works. Prepare and submit monthly applications and/or invoices. Co-ordinate with other trades and contractors. Prepare monthly invoicing and spend forecasts
