Registered Service Manager - Supported Accommodation Location: Ilford Job Type: Full-time Salary: 50,000 per annum We are seeking a Registered Service Manager for our Supported Accommodation services. This pivotal role involves managing the day-to-day operations and ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards and other regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will lead the service through inspections and audits, safeguard the welfare of young adults, and maintain high standards across all aspects of the service. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the service, ensuring compliance with the Statement of Purpose and regulatory standards. Leadership: Provide strong leadership, direction, and support to the staff team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Safeguarding: Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, coordinate safeguarding actions within the service, and manage child protection concerns. Compliance: Ensure the service meets all legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining registration criteria and leading the service through Ofsted registration processes. Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with local authorities, schools, health professionals, and other stakeholders to promote the best outcomes for young people. Resource Management: Manage resources effectively, ensuring that the physical environment, equipment, and finances are maintained to high standards. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: Proven experience in a managerial role within supported accommodation with adults and young people. Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team. Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the regulatory framework, including Ofsted requirements and safeguarding procedures. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with various stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Ability to handle complex situations and make informed decisions under pressure. Registration: Must be able to register with Ofsted as the Registered Service Manager.
