About this Role This role is accountable for the translation of the global commercial strategy for the Global Ad Effectiveness Practice Area to Europe, as well as meeting financial targets for Ad Effectiveness in the region. It entails creating a strategy to retain existing clients and attract new ones in this space via both direct Practice Area outreach, as well as in collaboration with sales Business Partners aligned to client accounts and industry verticals. This role is accountable for accurately managing an active sales pipeline with consistent sales forecasting for the EU Ad Effectiveness business as well as prospecting, value creation, pitching, negotiating and closing deals. The EU Ad Effectiveness Practice Area Leader will be accountable to the EU Brand & Media Lead in the Strategic Analytics & Insights organization. This role will also support the Global Ad Effectiveness Leader in setting the global commercial strategy and in helping to craft the toolkit of the future that will win in this space and achieve sustained growth. Responsibilities Strategy/ PA Development Support Global Ad Effectiveness leader in the creation of the vision and strategy of the Practice Area Translate and execute global vision/strategy for the PA in EU Partner with Global Ad Effectiveness Leader, Regional Brand & Media Leader, and Product Leadership for product updates or new product launches Revenue and Drive Brand & Media Penetration Own revenue target/quota for Ad Effectiveness in EU Drive profitable growth – ensure appropriate cost to revenue for Ad Effectiveness across EU Craft client engagement plans alongside Business Partners, Global Practice Leader, EU Brand & Media sub-practice peers, and EU Brand & Media Leader Team with Business Partners to understand client business strategies impacting Ad Effectiveness and formulate a plan to propose solutions Strive to integrate Ad Effectiveness with other solutions from Brand & Media specifically, but also with broader Strategic Analytics & Insights in EU Directly engage with Clients in highly specialized solutions – drive revenue directly Own or support Business Partners in proposal development for Ad Effectiveness-specific opportunities Own response/proposal creation Expand Strategic Analytics & Insights client footprint via Ad Effectiveness Practice (penetrate new divisions/functions/C-suite) Ad Effectiveness Specialty Spokesperson Identify important thought leadership/meta-analytic topic areas that would help advance the practice Drive business results through consultative selling and leveraging thought leadership and case studies to further develop client relationships Clearly and convincingly articulate Ad Effectiveness offerings and value proposition, matching them with relevant client business challenges/KPIs Objection handling and overcoming resistance from both current and prospective clients Obtaining client testimonials and case studies Train Business Partners on the fundamental benefits of Ad Effectiveness to enable leads Working Across Strategic Analytics & Insights Partner with EU Brand & Media team for cross-selling opportunities and integrated opportunities Collaborate with Customer Success to effectively translate client/proposal requirements for Ad Effectiveness projects and engagements Ensure internal processes are followed for Ad Effectiveness sales, including adherence to tracking customer and transactional information in CRM system and other sales and operational processes Maintain broader Strategic Analytics & Insights product/technical knowledge by participating in learning workshops/sessions across practices Model appropriate behaviors across the job responsibilities of collaboration, study design/pricing, and job coordination Qualifications: Work experience of 8 years At least 5 years of experience in related research field Track record of growing business in Western Europe In depth experience leading client pitches with clear understanding of the ad effectiveness landscape Strong background in client and internal stakeholder collaboration Preferred: Background in System 1 (Implicit) tools
