Job Duties:
1. Provide support to students with challenging behaviour
2. Assist in the implementation of behaviour management strategies
3. Work closely with teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment
4. Monitor and record student behaviour and progress
5. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Required Qualifications:
6. GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
7. Experience working with children or young people
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Experience:

Knowledge and Skills:
8. Understanding of behaviour management techniques
9. Excellent communication skills
10. Ability to work effectively in a team
11. Patience and empathy
Preferred Qualifications:
12. Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
13. First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in an educational setting with students who may display challenging behaviour. The work may be physically and emotionally demanding at times. The Behaviour Support Assistant will work full-time hours following the school term calendar.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
