About The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Technician (Onsite) to join our team at Sunbelt Rentals UK on Phillips 66. It’s our vision to own the future of rentals and our mission to deliver a world-class experience.
As a Workshop Technician (Onsite), you will support operational delivery of the Safety and Communications division. You'll be responsible for delivering a best-in-class service to our customers using your knowledge to help them with on-site requests, fault diagnosis, and resolution of all site Safety and Communication equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Issuing assets to customers whilst providing advice and knowledge to ensure the safe use of all the equipment.
* Completing regular calibration of the site and customer equipment.
* Diagnosing and fixing equipment where required.
* Ensuring asset compliance systems are kept up to date.
* Completing all reporting and administration in line with Company standards.
* Involvement with onsite projects ensuring asset management/traceability of all safety and communications equipment.
* Adhering to and promoting Health and Safety and compliance of equipment standards.
* Maintaining effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Actively contributing to team management of KPI’s.
* Raising the Sunbelt Rentals profile and reputation through a professional attitude.

The ideal candidate will have the following:
* Proven experience in a Technical Support role, preferably handling service and repair enquiries; however, training will be provided.
* Previous experience in Safety and Communication is desirable but not essential.
* Strong commitment to delivering high standards.
* Eagerness to learn and understand our product range and the wider Sunbelt business.
* Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with both internal and external customers.
* An inquisitive mind, enjoying analysing and problem-solving to provide immediate solutions to complex customer on-site service issues.
* A flexible and adaptable mindset, enjoying a varied workday in a fast-paced operational environment where you’ll manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and targets while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
* A commitment to identifying areas of continuous improvement.
* Flexible working mentality in line with business requirements, including occasional weekends and additional hours connected to site-based work.
