The Role We are looking for an inspirational Sales Manager to join our Volkswagen team and lead, manage, and drive the performance of the sales and sales development teams to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer experience and client satisfaction. The Sales Manager acts as a bridge between ROI senior management, the client Volkswagen Group and the sales team, aligning team activities with broader business objectives. This is a key role within the project and the successful candidate will be accountable for setting and achieving sales goals, performance standards including quality and all key results, sales coaching and development, and ultimately delighting ROI’s client and their customers with the service provided. Key Skills and Experience Leadership and Team Management Ability to lead, motivate, and coach a sales team, ensuring high performance, accountability, and development of individual team members Demonstrate driving behaviours, setting pace and intensity Act as a role model for Rigour, Client Service, Innovation, Ambition, Humanity and Resilience Sales Strategy and Planning Expertise in developing sales strategies tailored to automotive corporate B2B, including market analysis, opportunity management and sales process optimisation Communication and Negotiation Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with team members, clients and internal stakeholders Ability to negotiate and close deals Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills Proficiency in analysing sales data, market trends and customer behaviour to make data-driven decisions Relationship Management Skills Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, colleagues and customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, trust, and loyalty which are critical to ROI’s success.
