Special Education Needs Coordinator (SENCO), job vacancy, close to the Redwick area of South Gloucestershire. Located close to Redwick and Severn Beach area, commutable from the M4, M49, and A403 Roads, or just 24 minutes from Bristol Centre along the M4 and M32.
Requirements
* All candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
* A recognised SENCO Qualification.
* Relevant knowledge and experience of working with SEN & SEND practice.
* Experience of managing a range of approaches to challenging behaviour.

About the School
This is a bespoke School for 7-19-year-olds with Autism. It is a SEN school focused on ensuring students achieve their goals and ambitions for their future. They provide education to Children & Young People from Key Stage 2 through to Post 16.
Your Duties
* Support the Headteacher in managing the school’s special education needs, both operationally and in raising pupils' achievements.
* Responsible for teaching and learning for SEN across the school.
* Identify and monitor effective teaching and learning approaches.
* Track data, identify trends, and provide reports for reviews and reporting.
* Coordinate with other schools to ensure continuity and smooth transition.
* Work with transitions team, therapy, and class team for new starters.
* Set targets for raising achievements among pupils.
