The role is a specialist role, and its focus is upon the clinical benefit, safety and effectiveness of the technologies deployed to critical care across both the Doncaster and Bassetlaw Units. You will be involved in the maintenance and ongoing development of the digital information system including ongoing staff training.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who will use their clinical and technical knowledge and experience to:
1. Support the introduction and use of digital technologies to the benefit of patients, carers, and staff, supporting the clinical teams in the new ways of working ensuring they are able to adopt the new solutions.
2. Continually develop and optimise the electronic healthcare record.
3. Work in conjunction with colleagues and clinicians to identify clinical risks in the deployment and use of health technologies and recommend ways to manage and/or mitigate those risks.

1. Registered Nurse (NMC).
2. Bachelor's degree in nursing/health or equivalent academic credits. Completion of specialist academic Critical Care modules or equivalent.
3. Registered Mentor or equivalent experience/qualification.
4. Compliance with all Mandatory training.
Knowledge and Experience
Essential
1. Proven experience of providing training in a variety of formats, such as individual and group sessions.
2. Proven experience of leading and managing change.
3. Ability to demonstrate a broad knowledge of secondary care patient pathways.
4. Direct experience of leading a change project alongside an in-depth understanding of the electronic record and application of the program.
5. Ability to work autonomously, prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
Desirable
1. Experience of designing training packages.
2. Knowledge and experience of the Project and Programme Management, Delivery and Post Implementation Cycle.
