Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of students with MLD. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal development. Assess, record, and report on student progress, implementing strategies to support individual needs. Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to deliver a holistic approach to education. Establish strong relationships with students, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for learners. Promote the safeguarding and well-being of all students. Support the school ethos and policies, contributing to the wider school community. Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A genuine interest in working with children with moderate learning difficulties (MLD). Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude toward challenges. Previous experience in SEN education is desirable but not essential.
