The Role:
We are seeking a proactive and efficient Stock Control and Order Processing Specialist to join our dynamic team. Working closely with the Customer Experience Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of customer orders. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, you will keep customers informed about their order status, promptly addressing any enquiries to enhance their experience.
In this results-driven role, you will actively chase suppliers and production teams to resolve delays, ensuring on-time delivery and operational efficiency. Your strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills will be essential in maintaining high standards of service and supporting AUK’s continued growth.
Responsibilities:
* Identify potential delays in the order process early and take action to prevent disruptions.
* Proactively keep customers informed about their orders and respond to enquiries promptly.
* Track and manage orders to ensure deadlines are met.
* Work with suppliers, logistics providers and internal teams to confirm and expedite shipments.
* Resolve supplier delays and production issues to keep orders on track.
* Maintain accurate records of order progress and delivery schedules.
The Person:
The successful candidate will have proven experience managing the end-to-end order fulfillment process, from supplier coordination to final delivery, ensuring customers are informed at every stage. Strong organisational skills are essential, with the ability to monitor orders and proactively resolve potential delays. You will have experience working closely with suppliers and logistics providers as well as internal teams to prioritise tasks and maintain a smooth workflow.
Exceptional communication and customer service skills are key, enabling you to provide timely and accurate updates whilst addressing any issues before they impact the customer experience. A problem-solver by nature, you will be confident in handling supplier-related challenges and expediting shipments. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously are crucial, along with maintaining accurate records of order progress and delivery schedules.
Experience in a similar industry, such as wholesale, distribution, procurement, or manufacturing, would be beneficial.
