A leading building contractor is searching for a Bid Writer to join the expanding pre-construction team based in Derbyshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a Bid Writer to play a key role in the successful work winning team of a privately-owned contractor.

Requirements:
1. Experience of understanding bid procedures and responding to tenders and framework bids
2. Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft packages
3. Ability to motivate and work as part of a team
4. Professional writing skills
Key Duties:
1. Help to secure frameworks and competitively tendered schemes
2. Assist in the tender process and submit work-winning bids
3. Develop bid strategy best-practice tendering
4. Attend PQQ and bid meetings

Salary & Package:
- Basic salary of 32,000 - 38,000 (DOE)

To qualify for the higher rate of pay, you must be able to demonstrate a track record as a Bid Writer / Bid Coordinator with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 building contractor.
