Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent, full-time Employment Litigation Lawyer to join the UK&I Legal team. The role will be primarily home-based, with occasional travel to UK offices. The role will be 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
* Conducting Employment Tribunal Litigation through process.
* Drafting documents pleadings, statements, Bundles.
* Advocacy and attending trials and hearing to conclusion.
* Engagement with external advisers (Counsel/Solicitors) where instructed.
* Additional HR support to HRAs.
* Additional shadowing work/Support for Senior (HR) Counsel DP and internal investigatory.
* Preparation of newsletters, training materials, and lessons-learnt documents (and delivery).
Key Competencies
* Experienced HR litigator and advocate.
* Self-starter.
* Provide legal advice to HR teams.
* Deal with and represent any Employment Tribunal, (employment-related) litigation claims, and Early Conciliation matters against business areas to ensure the best interests of the business areas are met.
* Provide advice and support to the HR teams within the business streams to establish and minimise risk.
* Prepare and disseminate updates to ensure best practise, consistency of approach and compliance with legislation (including pre-emptive planning).
* Develop and deliver training programmes as required and appropriate on a range of employee-related subjects to ensure that Managers and HR Teams adopt best practise, consistency of approach and compliancewith legislation.
* Provide support and advice in respect of HR-related regulatory and compliance matters (such as data protection, and working time).
* Provide general legal support as required.
Essential Skills and Knowledge
* Experienced litigator and advocate within Employment Law jurisdictions (3 + years ofexperience).
* (Specialised) Knowledge of employment and employment-related legislation.
* Commercial awareness and understanding of commercial pressures affecting the business.
* Good communication skills including being able to explain complex issues in a clear, concise way to non-legal professionals.
* Qualified Lawyer in England and Wales (or equivalent/appropriate qualification to deliver above).
* Credibility to deal with all levels (including senior) and manage relationships with different stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vettingprocesses. These documents may include your passport, drivers license, utility bill (dated in the last 3 months),HMRC letter, original bank statements, an original payslip, your birth certificate, or a valid share code.
