Are you an experienced and driven Paralegal looking to develop your career in a top 50 law firm?
Are you interested in property law, real estate, or Islamic finance?
If so, this role may be for you!
You’ll be a key part of our friendly and close-knit Real Estate Finance team. You will represent Islamic finance and other lending institutions, handle the review of residential conveyancing transactions, and provide client reports to request completion funds.
This role would suit someone who enjoys and works well under pressure and is looking for excellent development opportunities in a collaborative team with exposure to quality clients.
What you will be doing:
* Preparing initial documentation and instructions for solicitors representing clients' customers.
* Reviewing solicitor responses and documentation, requesting additional information as needed to ensure smooth progress.
* Drafting detailed client reports to enable timely release of completion funds and overseeing completions and post-completion tasks.
* Managing 50–75 cases independently, prioritising tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
* Maintaining professional communication with clients and solicitors to build strong relationships.
What you will need:
* Previous experience working as a paralegal in a regulated legal practice, ideally in a fast-paced residential or commercial conveyancing team.
* A proven ability to manage a full caseload, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in order to meet SLAs and achieve key targets.
* An understanding of the residential conveyancing process, including contracts, transfer deeds, title documents, and the stages of exchange, completion, and post-completion.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), case management systems, and PDF editing software to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
* Ideally, a law degree, Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL), CLC Level 4 Diploma, or CILEX Level 3 Paralegal Qualification, demonstrating a solid foundation of legal knowledge.
