What could you be doing as our Head of Quality and Post Construction? The role will be responsible for the day-to-day management and strategic development of the Quality and Post Construction team and its skilled professionals of various backgrounds. You will lead and develop a highly skilled and effective team that delivers the best in quality and customer care. The Head of Quality and Post-Construction will act as the strategic lead and provide regular training to the team in industry changes, including policy, planning and building regulations. You will effectively and proactively lead and motivate the team ensuring that there is a culture of high performance, strong engagement, and a commitment to continual improvement. Providing leadership and direction to the teams, you will ensure an excellent service is provided to customers of all tenures enabling them to move into their new homes with a one stop service and have a positive and proactive experience of dealing with any defects in their home. Some of the things we are looking for: We are looking for a leader with a demonstrable track record of delivering excellent technical and customer service across a substantial development programme including affordable rented, intermediate, and outright sale tenures, establishing a centre of excellence for quality and customer service. You will be someone who can demonstrate a track record in Development in a Registered Provider or Private Developer environment with a particular focus on post contract and delivery. You will ideally have an understanding of the wider Social Housing Sector. This role requires someone who has experience of managing a team to deliver an agreed programme of new homes, directing, and adding value to all post contract and post occupancy activities on site whilst working closely with client departments and customers. Alongside your technical expertise, you will be a natural leader of people with the ability to convey thoughts and express ideas effectively in individual or group situations. While this role is home based, you should have the ability to travel to Group offices and other locations as required.
