Service Technician
Location: Slough

Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is looking to hire a Service Technician to join their dynamic team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, servicing, and repairing Passenger Boarding Bridges and related equipment at airports across various sites. Responsibilities:
Install, inspect, service, and repair Passenger Boarding Bridges and related equipment. Work with mechanical and electrical components such as 3 phase motors, switchgear, PLC controls, roller bearings, chains sprockets, and hydraulics. Complete job sheets accurately for administrative purposes. Communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers. Follow instructions and work well as part of a team. Organise work efficiently and show initiative.
Requirements:
Positive attitude and excellent approach to work in a high-pressure environment. Excellent communication skills. Good understanding of mechanical and electrical drawings. Full UK Driving Licence. Ability to use hand and power tools. Experience in the mechanical and electrical industries. NVQ level 2 or higher (desirable). Right to work in the UK (essential). 5-year traceable work/education history.
Benefits
Days: Monday - Friday 08:00 to 17:00, 40-hour productive week, Nights: Sunday- Thursday 20:00 to 05:00, 40-hour productive week
(Due to Airport operational activity some works are required to take place at Night Additional hours or weekends may be required depending on workload)
