GCOO Supplier Management manages the relationships with Group-wide technology suppliers, who are part of the Group's wider strategy and delivery model. Our close relationships and understanding of the importance of these partnerships to LBG's wider strategic goals help us drive performance and delivery aligned to the contractual requirements. These relationships are critical in delivering resilient and innovative services and solutions to our customers.
We're looking for a highly motivated individual, who can develop and manage a portfolio of Suppliers, who can work in partnerships both with external providers and internal senior stakeholders to ensure services are resilient, are provided in line with our policies, contract, and business expectations.
About the role:
Lloyds Banking Group is the UK's largest Digital, Retail, and Commercial Bank with a focus on Helping Britain Prosper. Specific activities which you'll be responsible for include:
1. Building collaborative relationships with senior internal and external partners.
2. Working in collaboration with the business areas to ensure your suppliers deliver in line with expectations and drive incremental value, delivering competitive advantage in line with strategic and operational objectives.
3. Responsible for the active management of suppliers and applying the appropriate level of Treatment Standards.
4. Utilising data to identify trends, delivering continuous improvements to maximise our value and minimise risk in our supply chain.
5. Acting as a source of expertise with your suppliers, providing professional advice to key partners and colleagues.
Using your relationship management skills, you'll balance holding our supply partners to account for delivering the key services we expect while working in partnership to identify continuous additional value. This role reports directly into the Senior Supplier Manager and is part of an established team of supplier managers.
