We have an exciting opportunity within our Business Support Service for a self-motivated Business Support Assistant, providing essential support to our practice staff members.
This position is within our No Recourse to Public Funds Business Support Team.
The No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) team supports children in need where their family has no access to public funds (welfare benefits) and cannot work because of their parent's immigration status. The Business Support team provides administrative tasks and financial payments to ensure that these processes are maintained in a timely and accurate way, in line with policy, so that the best outcomes are achieved for Children, Young People, and Families. The Business Support team also provides administrative support to social workers based in this team.
You will be working with colleagues and multi-agency professionals at all levels across the service to contribute to positive outcomes for some of the most vulnerable children and families.
We are looking for someone who has good customer care and organisational skills, can problem solve, use their own initiative, and has great attention to detail with excellent communication skills. Experience of note taking is desirable.
This role requires the processing of a number of financial tasks, such as invoices and other financial transactions; therefore, previous experience in this area would be useful; however, training will be provided. This role is customer-facing and involves contact with Trust Service users within the office for at least 2 days a week.

* Experience of handling and processing manual or computerised information
* Experience of managing front desk/reception service is desirable
We adopt a Hybrid working model, which includes working some days within an office setting. All staff are expected to be office-based for at least 2 days a week for Team/Service workdays, Team Meetings, Supervisions, etc. The role within NRPF, based at One Avenue Road, Aston currently requires office attendance on Tuesdays and Thursdays; those days, however, may be subject to change depending on the needs of the Service, therefore, flexibility will be required.
