Directorate We have an exciting opportunity for a part time experienced Counsellor/Psychotherapist to join our multi-disciplinary, BACP accredited, Counselling and Mental Health Service. The purpose of the Service is to facilitate equal opportunities, student engagement and full participation in academic studies and the University experience, to enable students to fulfil their potential whilst staying well. Working pattern will be 32.5 hours per week: 4 days 8:30am - 4:30pm, and one day (either Tuesday or Thursday) working from home 10:00am - 1:30pm). The Service provides a wide range of excellent and innovative mental health support and psychological interventions for both students and staff at the University of Bradford. What you will be doing: As part of the team, you would provide: Individual and group psychological interventions Consultancy and support for staff The development and delivery of proactive initiatives around mental health and wellbeing Qualifications/ experience: A degree A professional qualification (to at least Diploma level) in counselling or psychotherapy Current registration and accreditation (or eligible for) with a professional body (e.g. BACP, UKCP) Substantial post qualification counselling experience, with evidence In Return we Offer: 25 days and 13 statutory and customary days (taken at Easter and Christmas).
