Join Emerson's dynamic team as a Lifecycle Services Consultant -a newly created role designed to drive innovation and strengthen our customer partnerships. As a Lifecycle Services Consultant, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and knowledge, to support a team of Sales Account Managers by utilizing Emerson solutions and technologies. You will analyze clients' needs, business objectives, and challenges to define a comprehensive solution lifecycle roadmap and present the value message to the client. Successful Consultants are experienced in the Lifecycle Services field and will be able to learn and demonstrate software solutions such as Backup and Recovery, Integrated Patch Management, Predictive Maintenance along with a strong technical knowledge of System Upgrades. You will be responsible for explaining the benefits and value of Remote Solutions, whilst positioning the value of our Cyber Security portfolio. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: - Work with our Sales Teams and Clients to develop system lifecycle roadmaps using products and solutions. Define plant studies which evaluate customer's vision, strategy, challenges, and current state to subsequently define the potential solutions to meet their needs. This may include feasibility analysis, business case /ROI development, IT/OT architecture options, and analysis for manufacturing facilities. - Participate in appropriate industry events like road shows, exhibitions, forums etc. - Collaborate with other consultants, solution delivery engineers, product managers, or technical specialists for possible solutions in engagements. - Work with local Account Managers and Project Sales teams to ensure the requirement for Lifecycle Service Solutions are highlighted and passed to the Lifecycle Services teams for further customer engagement mid to post project completion. - Collaborate across the Emerson business units to influence product direction and provide input on industry marketing. - Discuss and address customer requirements in compliance with relevant Cyber Security regulations - Inform and guide customer understanding of Cyber best practices in accordance with Emerson "DeltaV Security Manual - General understanding of EU/UK regulatory framework. Who You Are: If you're a DeltaV expert or have experience in DCS systems, with a strong drive to sell and build meaningful relationships with customers, then we want to hear from you This is a newly created role and a fantastic opportunity for the successful person to shape and make their own. For This Role, You Will Need: - Engineering degree with relevant experience. - Successful track record in the Lifecycle Services field with automation platforms (DCS) gained in sales, project management or operations - Clear understanding of Automation System Architecture levels (Purdue Model) and ability to discuss related Cybersecurity aspects. - Strong facilitator and communicator who listens attentively with excellent presentation skills - Travel to various client sites is required; travel is variable based on client needs and travel restrictions.
