We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic senior radiographer with sophisticated communication skills and a patient-centred approach. You will need to have significant experience in CT scanning and extensive general radiographic experience. You are required to hold demonstrable teaching abilities as you will be working with undergraduates & junior staff, and there is a wide range of clinical.
The department is keen to facilitate continual professional development whilst working in a supportive and progressive team. All staff are actively supported in this area.
The post holder would need to participate in the Out of Hours Roster.
The Radiology directorate is in the Imaging Division which also includes Nuclear Medicine. The Division is in Surgery and Cancer Board which is led by the Medical Director. Radiology services are provided at 5 sites across the UCLH campus. We provide CT, MRI, X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, and Interventional Radiology services.
This is an exciting role for a dedicated and enthusiastic radiographer with developed organisational skills that will enable you to manage a varied workload ensuring safe and clinical practices.
You will be providing a high-quality diagnostic service whilst maintaining a safe working Imaging environment.
Responsibilities include:
1. Assess referrals or request forms, and justify under radiographic regulations and locally agreed protocols.
2. Prioritise patients to ensure optimum efficiency and service quality.
3. Help organise the patient workflow and liaise with a multi-disciplinary team.
4. Be compliant with IR(ME)R 2017 in your daily imaging.
