UHNM has committed to a Strategic Programme that will define and deliver major changes in the model of care provided at our County Hospital site.
This exciting programme currently includes 5 work streams and we are looking to secure clinical leads for these now:
* Frailty - Medical Model linking to Integrated Care
* Urgent Care
* Elective Care Hub
* Women's Health Centre
* Community Diagnostic Service
Main duties of the job
As clinical lead working to the Medical Director and Programme SRO, you will work closely with your management lead and project support to define and deliver agreed project work strategically aligned to the goals and vision of your work stream.
You will work towards the effective delivery of the specified County work stream, championing the development with clinical colleagues, promoting high standards of clinical care and teamwork, whilst identifying and addressing challenges. You will also work to recognise and widely communicate progress and success in the delivery of the programme going forward.

The County Hospital Development Programme will provide an opportunity for training in and to apply our lean-based "Improving Together" approach in practice. As clinical lead, you will be expected to actively support the application of the "Improving Together" approach in delivering your work stream.

Person specification
Education, Qualifications and Training
* SAS doctor or Consultant-level background and training.
* Other senior healthcare professionals with equivalent training and experience will also be considered.
Knowledge and Experience
* Experience in a senior clinical role.
* Active participation in service development internally and across organisational boundaries.
* Experience of leading teams training and delivering improvement initiatives.
* Clinical management experience.
Leadership and Management Skills
* Excellent negotiating and influencing skills.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to create innovative solutions to complex problems.
* Service improving training and/or qualifications.
Personal Attributes
* A clear understanding of UHNM’s values and vision.
* Champion for the patient’s perspective.
* Ability to communicate a clear vision and inspire and influence at all levels.
