Job Title: Principal Systems Engineer (Process, Governance & Maturity)\n\nLocation: Coventry. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role. \n\nSalary: Negotiable, depending on experience \n\nWhat you’ll be doing: \n\nResponsible for process and governance advice and support across engineering in all phases of the engineering lifecycle\n\nDeliver appropriate technical solutions against functional and business requirements and regulations both for process development, communication, and maintenance as well as for governable activities within engineering\n\nProvide engineering Lifecycle Management (LCM) adherence for all deliverables, and relevant input to project LCM activities\n\nProvide specialist technical input, review, and support into projects beyond the immediate scope \n\nLeverage process and governance experience and knowledge in both the tactical and strategic development of other engineers and relevant members of other supporting functions\n\nYour skills and experiences: \n\nEssential:\n\nUnderstanding of the relevant maritime legislation, industry and defence standards \n\nKnowledge of the engineering Lifecycle Management (LCM)\n\nExpertise in governance processes and practices in the defence, maritime or closely linked industry\n\nDesirable:\n\nSTEM related degree or previous experience in submarines, nuclear or other highly regulated environment\n\nBenefits: \n\nYou’ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
