We are looking to recruit a permanent AMHP/Progressed Social Worker to our Mental Health Adult Social Care team based in Winsford. This position is for a Grade 10 Approved Mental Health Professional; we would also welcome applications from Progressed Social Workers (non-AMHPs /Grade 9).
The team provides a comprehensive health and social care service to residents. Our Mental Health Team operates under the Care Act and works alongside NHS colleagues to meet the needs of our residents. Managers of this service are responsible for line management and support of social care staff only.
We are looking for dedicated and highly motivated team players to join us as AMHPs working in line with the Mental Health Act 2014. Our AMHPs play a critical role in supporting people by promoting the least restrictive approach to mental health recovery.

You will have:
* Professional Social Work/OT/Mental Health Nurse/Psychologist qualification.
* AMHP qualification (postgraduate certificate on master’s level).
* Experience of managing high risk, complex cases and safeguarding Adults.
* Experience of working in a mental health team understanding the legislation that underpins the role.
* Understanding of services essential to meeting the needs of people with Mental Health needs.
* Ability to communicate effectively with customers, carers, and families.
* Ability to cope positively with change and promote positive changes to make a difference.
* Awareness of importance of multi-disciplinary working and an integrated approach.
* Ability to carry out assessment and support planning in line with relevant legislation.
* Self-motivating individual with the passion to make a difference in adult social care.
* Resilient personal stress management.
