Job Description
As part of the People Performance team, reporting into the People Business Partner, you’ll work in a generalist role supporting the delivery of our people plans. You’ll partner with our Retail teams, specifically with Regional/Area Managers, supporting them with people solutions across multiple sites.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Building and maintaining trusted relationships with stakeholders
2. Holding regular reviews with stakeholders to review their people, covering all elements of the colleague experience
3. Working with other teams within the People function, including Recruitment and Learning & Development
4. Completing talent reviews with stakeholders, agreeing actions and proactively monitoring progress of these
5. Succession planning for key roles
6. Supporting with upskilling of managers
7. Maintaining a focus on colleague engagement
8. Supporting with new store openings and closure processes
9. Managing employee relations cases
Qualifications
10. Ideally previous experience in a similar generalist HR/People role
11. Proven experience of managing employee relations cases, including complex cases
12. Experience of working within a highly customer centric or retail environment
13. To be confident working with data
14. Natural curiosity and ability to solve problems
15. Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to make impact and build effective relationships
16. Ability to collaborate, persuade and influence
17. To be assertive, resilient and tenacious with the ability to work well under pressure and overcome setbacks and changing priorities

Our Recruitment Team will be reviewing applications and all candidates will receive a response, whether you are successful or unsuccessful. Shortlisted applicants may be asked to confirm a few key details before being booked in for a first stage interview with the Recruiter- this will be behaviourally focussed and centred around how you align with our Culture and Values. If successful we anticipate two further interview stages with the Hiring Manager/wider team which will be more technically focussed and could include a presentation/task so we can see your skills in action.
