Your Role
We are looking for a Sea Logistics Intermodal Key Account Specialist for our office in Birmingham. You will work with the Intermodal team based in Aston, focusing on operational planning of UK container transport requirements, utilizing the most cost-efficient routing whilst ensuring we deliver excellent service to one of our Key Accounts.
Your Responsibilities
1. Planning of import moves for key accounts utilizing TOPS operating system.
2. Working closely with haulage providers to ensure transport plan is achievable and executed to customers’ requirements.
3. To be the first point of contact for customers and transport providers.
4. Maintain proactive communications with customers both written, verbal and face to face.
5. Collate data and produce daily operational reports.
6. Ensure that the required levels of operational service are maintained.
7. Ensure that completed transport orders are correctly rated and aligned to customer and supplier’s agreements, ensuring that any additional costs have been captured and verified as correct.
8. Prioritize and action on email correspondences promptly.
