Ground Support Worker
Location: Wymondham
Salary: FTE £25,992 per annum, Pro rata £10,537 per annum, including an allowance for holiday pay
Hours: 15 hours per week, Tuesday and Thursday 8.00 - 16.00
The College is a member of the Education Trust, which is an expanding multi-academy trust with 11 primary and 9 secondary schools.
The Role
We are looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic person with high standards and the ability to communicate and interact effectively with others as a Grounds Support Worker. You will provide practical one-to-one support for an employee based within the Grounds team and have a good understanding of safeguarding issues related to this role.
This position requires you to assist an individual while they undertake their duties as a ground person. Additionally, you will assist with ground maintenance tasks, including (but not limited to):
1. Sweeping
2. Litter picking
3. Grass cutting
4. Strimming
5. General tidying tasks
Prior experience of providing care and support for an adult with additional needs would be hugely beneficial. Full training will be provided regarding the grounds elements of the role.

The qualifications and experience required include:
1. A minimum of a grade C / 4 in English and Maths GCSE
2. Basic knowledge of Grounds Maintenance is desirable; however, full training can be given
