Role Overview
As a Sales Development Representative, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers. Your primary responsibility will be to make outbound calls to a list of prospects and engage them in discussions about our products and services, including:
* IT Managed Services
* Cloud Solutions
* ERP with SAP Business One
* Cybersecurity
* IBMi Power
* Microsoft 365
You will also manage existing customer relationships to gather feedback and identify additional needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Make approximately 80-90 outbound calls daily, to generate leads and discuss our offerings.
* Conduct data cleansing and management to ensure accurate prospect information.
* Follow up calls with relevant emails and collateral, maintaining contact until a sales meeting is confirmed.
* Target a minimum of 4 confirmed leads per week, with leads credited as Sales Qualified Leads (SQL).
* Reach out to existing customers for feedback and to identify additional service opportunities (less than 20% of your role).
* Set meetings for leads acquired from third-party call centres and earn commission for confirmed meetings.
* Report directly to the Sales Director.
Qualifications
* Minimum 1 year B2B sales experience.
* Strong telephone manner and ability to engage confidently with high-level directors and managing directors.
* Optimistic, motivated, and resilient in the face of challenges.
* Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in MS Office and CRM management.
* A genuine interest in pursuing a career in sales.
