Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - Specialist Resourced Provision / Early Years Provision

Position: Full-time, Temporary (until further notice)
We are currently seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Broadstairs, supporting children within a Specialist Resourced Provision or Early Years Provision. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support children with SEN in a Specialist Resourced Provision or Early Years setting.
2. Work 1:1 and in small groups, providing tailored support to meet individual learning needs.
3. Help to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
4. Assist the classroom teacher with the delivery of lesson plans and adapting activities to suit SEN children.
5. Support with behaviour management, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
6. Foster emotional and social development in children with SEN.
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Experience working with children with SEN in either a primary or early years setting.
2. Must have an up-to-date DBS on the Update Service.
3. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to engage children in learning.
4. Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach.
5. A positive attitude and willingness to support a diverse range of needs.
