About the School
Widnes Academy is a small school with 136 pupils on roll, including Nursery. Our recent Ofsted Inspection in March 2023 judged the school to be Good in all areas - a testament to the hard work and dedication of all staff, pupils and parents. We are very much a community school and are proud of what we have achieved. Widnes Academy is part of the Wade Deacon Multi-Academy Trust.
About the Role
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and inspirational Key Stage 2 teacher to join our school. We pride ourselves in providing a secure, friendly, family environment in which each child is encouraged to develop their skills and talents to the full. You will share these values be able to enthuse and motivate our pupils with your passion and creative teaching, presence and personality.

9. Understand how ICT can be used to enhance students’ learning
10. Significant knowledge of phonics and reading strategies
11. Able to communicate effectively with colleagues and to deal politely and tactfully with a wide range of people

13. Reliable, honest and trustworthy
14. Committed to safeguarding the welfare of young people
15. Ability to plan own work and work on own initiative
16. Ability to prioritise work to achieve deadlines
