Drive theassessment and accreditation frameworkhelping teams to gain and sustain safe and quality care
UtiliseQuality Improvement methodsto enhance care delivery and team performance
Collaboratewith leaders to identify improvement areas and celebrate successes
You will beresponsible for the operational delivery of the assessment and accredited programme, providing leadership developing the skills of the team and providing senior support to clinical managers
Establishrobust and rigorous assessment processesthat evaluate and enhance care quality
Drive improvements to ensuresafe high quality and personalised carefor every patient accessing DCHS services
Foster a culture of excellence and sustainabilityin patient care outcomes
Support the utilisation and embedding of technologyensuring that our staff are supported to develop the skills and confidence to effectively utilise technology regarding local accreditation

The clinical lead will be responsible for:
Maintaining overall responsibility to implement the Clinical Assessment and Accreditation scheme that provides robust and rigorous assessment processes throughout all clinical teams and services in order to ensure quality, safe care outcomes for patients.
Utilising their specialist knowledge of the local assessment and accreditation process to develop the organisational quality assurance process so that it is consistently aligned to both operational local and national developments
Using their experience and judgement in the analysis collation and interpretation of clinical information/data
Completing comprehensive reports which inform operational and strategic decision
Require highly developed interpersonal and influencing skills to ensure continuous improvement in the assessment and accreditation of quality standards in care settings within DCHS
Support and advise on service improvements required to sustain and develop local assessment and accreditation process
Develop and support quality improvements and safe patient care based on evidence based practice
Use a collaborative approach whilst maintaining motivation with key stakeholders and a wider range of Trust employees where introducing change may be challenging
Adapt approaches and make amendments when faced with providing scheduled and unplanned information requests/reports and assessment and accreditation activity
Our purpose is to provide community health services to a patient population of over one million people in Derbyshire and Derby, as part of Joined Up Care Derbyshire.
We employ around 4,200 substantive staff, caring for patients in 11 community hospitals and more than 30 health centres, as well as in clinics, GP practices, schools, care homes and, increasingly, in people’s own homes and via virtual consultations.
