Role Overview:
Our client is a leading and growing Financial Advisor in the North West who is seeking a Client Support Associate with strong Administrative skills, obtained within an IFA setting over a minimum of 2 years to support one of their Financial Advisors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supporting financial advisers with the seamless processing of new business, including managing transactions, fund reallocation, and coordinating with providers to ensure everything is set up accurately.
2. Handling administrative tasks such as preparing client reviews, producing valuations, and managing transfers of servicing to assist advisers in conducting effective client meetings.
3. Serving as a dependable liaison between clients and advisers, ensuring clear communication and keeping all parties informed of developments.
4. Accurately maintaining and updating client records on the relevant system, ensuring all compliance requirements are thoroughly met.
5. Preparing and issuing invoices for services provided to clients in a timely manner.
6. Ensuring original documents are sent to clients where needed, and that copies or contract notes are delivered within the agreed timescales, reflecting client requirements accurately.
7. Providing post-meeting administrative support for advisers, ensuring all tasks are completed within agreed deadlines.
8. Reporting any complaints (formal or informal), breaches, or losses to the Compliance Manager as early as possible.
9. Undertaking any additional duties reasonably requested by your Line Manager.
Requirements:
1. Foundational understanding of all products and investment funds relevant to the role's scope.
2. Proven ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with advisers, ensuring productive collaboration.
3. At least two years prior experience working within an independent financial advisory firm.
4. Completion of CF1 or equivalent qualification.
