The Role
What you will do
You will be responsible for overseeing and contributing to end-to-end user-centric solution design and content design for the organisation’s digital products and solutions, ensuring that the user experience vision and goals are achieved. They will act as the user experience (UX) lead for GTC Scotland’s suite of digital products and services, contributing to product vision and planning, creating design concepts, and leading UX research and testing.
What you will need to be successful
1. You have experience in creating and implementing UX design, working as a professional UX Designer, UI Designer or in a similar role. You can demonstrate a strong portfolio of successful UX/UI design projects.
2. You have experience of content design and information architecture.
3. You have good working knowledge of content management systems (Webflow would be an advantage) and are proficient in design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma).
4. You have experience of of working with third party software developers and UI/web developers.
5. You have managed or conducted user research.
6. You are an excellent communicator with experience of building effective working partnerships with internal and external users and partners.
7. You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification (SCQF Level 9) or equivalent attested vocational or work-based training.

Working Hours / Pattern
We see this role being based on full time working hours of 35 hours per week, however we would still like to hear from you if you are interested in the role but have alternative needs in relation to working hours or pattern.
