Derby College Group (DCG) are recruiting for a Learning Support Coach for Apprentices to join our team and work within our incredible Inclusion and support team. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive and vibrant team within the College, and you will see first-hand the positive impact you make on the lives of our students. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with the apprentices who have a range of Inclusion needs* or an Education, Health and Care Plan (*Learning difficulties or disabilities).
The opportunity
This job will include supporting the planning with apprentices to enable them to be the best they can whilst providing both virtual and face to face support to our apprentices in college and on various employers’ sites. Another import factor of this role is the management of data and creating backing evidence to support audit and impact tracking.
About you
You’ll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience of supporting learners. This is a very varied and rewarding role, passion around equity, initiative and accuracy are essential. You will also need to travel between college and employer sites so UK driving license and own vehicle are needed for this role.
