We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and committed teaching assistant to join our outstanding high school. We are excited to be expanding our team in response to a growing number of pupils joining our school. In particular, we have seen an increase in students who require additional support, and we are committed to ensuring they receive the best possible care and guidance. By strengthening our team, we can continue to provide a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for all.
As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with our experienced teaching staff to provide high-quality support and guidance to students across all key stages and subject areas.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supporting teachers in delivering outstanding lessons
2. Working with small groups and individual students to ensure they reach their full potential
3. Assessing and recording student progress
4. Establishing positive relationships with students, staff and parents
5. Contributing to the development and implementation of individual education plans
6. Delivering interventions
7. Attending regular CPD sessions
Person Specification:
1. A passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on young people's lives
2. Good active communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with staff, students and parents
3. An ability to work independently and as part of a team
4. Enthusiasm and drive to adapt work-based skills
5. Ability to use initiative in a wealth of learning situations
