We are looking for a Platform Engineer to work within the Service Delivery team.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the stability, integrity and efficient operation of our Windows-based systems and servers are maintained.
* Collaborate with stakeholders and work on multiple projects at any one time.
Technical Requirements
* System Administration of Microsoft Server Infrastructure
* Storage platforms - NetApp
* Infrastructure automation / Scripting - preferably SALT Stack PowerShell
* Virtualisation - Vmware
* Commvault Backup solution
* Cloud infrastructure provisioning - Azure
Skills and Experience
* Excellent technical documentation, coaching and knowledge transfer skills
* The creation, maintenance and adoption of relevant IT policies, processes and control frameworks
* The use of proactive monitoring tools, diagnostic and root cause analysis techniques
Requirements
* SCQF Level 8 (HND or SVQ4) qualification or direct relevant experience
* MICROSOFT, NETAPP, VMWARE OR COMMVAULT certification desirable
* ITIL foundation accreditation desirable
