Title: Bid Manager (12 month FTC) Title: Bid Manager (12 month FTC) Salary range : £45,000 to £55,000 per annum Location: Remote / FNC office Working Pattern: We operate a flexible hybrid working pattern at Frazer-Nash, with time split between the office, client sites and working from home. Closing date is 16th May 2025, but early application encouraged. Working as part of an innovative consulting organisation, the Bid Manager will have both an internal and external-facing role, working within the Strategic Pursuits team to manage the development of FNC bids as well as working with partner organisations and consortia members, to manage contributions to joint/collective bids and proposal activities. You will have experience of guiding and advising a range of client stakeholders across complex and critical programmes to improve performance on specific opportunities and across the enterprise. Key aspects of the role include: Leadership of the bid team for the opportunity you are working on Provision of best practice aligned to FNC’s business winning lifecycle Acting as the single point of contact for FNC’s nominated lead and managing all communication between the Strategic Pursuit team and the wider organisation Producing and managing the Bid Management Plan Producing and managing the bid schedule to include, as a minimum, all mandatory solution, proposal and business reviews in line with Sales and Governance Process, the DOA and local procedures Defining the required bid team size and skills mix and producing the associated bid organisation chart and role descriptions Ensuring all bid facilities are in place (e.g. rooms, IT, shared working environments etc.) Formally requesting resource approval through the relevant Quality Gate Managing the bid budget Conducting the bid Kick-off meeting and inducting all bid team members Embedding lessons learnt from similar previous bids to benefit the current bid Supporting the Capture Lead to articulate the customer Hot Buttons, the Value Proposition and Win Themes Supporting the Capture Lead to define the Win Strategy Managing solution requirements and flowing down requirements to appropriate team members Ensuring all Risks, Issues and Opportunities (RIO) are managed Managing solution costs by coordinating bid estimators and providing target costs derived from the Position / Price to Win estimate and acceptable profit constraints Internal stakeholder management and engagement in line with the bid RACI and in response to ad hoc requirements Managing the bid presentation for all Gates and coordinating the inputs from all contributors.
