Overview
This role has become available at Abbotsford Textiles which is part of the SIL Group. The ideal candidate will have strong admin skills including excellent practical knowledge of Microsoft office specifically Work, Excel and Outlook. You will be conscientious and have a keen eye for detail as you will be processing orders and preparing warehouse sheets. Providing a customer service function across the Luxury Contract Furnishings brand whilst maintaining accurate and up to date stock and sales information plus all other admin duties.
You will need to be proactive able to work independently, conscientious and can juggle a varied workload, strong IT skills, excellent telephone manner and positive outlook.
Roles & Responsibilities
Administration
* Dealing with customer enquiries and orders in a timely manner by email & telephone
* Creating customer accounts on the computer system and applying for credit limits via our internal credit system
* Processing customer quotations, orders, including sending acknowledgments, invoicing sales to customers
* Booking couriers
* Create purchase orders to suppliers
* Support operational investigations and problem resolution in relation to stock integrity related issues
* Update computerised stock system with correct information – including stock location, product codes/descriptions, lengths of pieces, product costs
* 80% Administration in the office and 20% Warehouse work
Warehouse Duties for cover for Holidays/sickness and to fulfil business needs.
* Manage and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, incoming and outgoing shipments, and other warehouse activities.
* Fulfil sampling orders and generating pick tickets
* Coordinate with customers to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
* Assist in the preparation of shipping documents and other paperwork as required.
* Utilise computerised systems to track inventory, update databases, and generate reports.
* Ensure all stock movements are recorded on ERP System
* Assist with annual stock takes
Preferred Skills
* Proven experience in using Microsoft office with particular emphasis on Excel, Work and Outlook
* Organised and with a high attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and work with little day to day supervision.
* Excellent telephone manner and written communications.
* Previous experience of ERP (Sage X3) would be an advantage.
* Calm under pressure
* A team player who will actively help out in whatever area of the business is needed.
* Comfortable in communicating with customers both verbally and in writing
