Phinia is currently looking for a dynamic, results driven individual to join the team as Global Product Manager supporting the overall Strategic Focus and direction across the wider Diesel Global product team and portfolio. • This person will be a key interface and driver of collaboration between different parts of the Phinia organization, particularly Aftermarket (AFM) Org and our OE Manufacturing Plants (FS) and will be focused on effective change management, identification and implementation of Aftermarket focused solutions that will support improved efficiency, waste and cost reductions and improved product flow. • This person will be a key interface and support to the Aftermarket teams within region, ensuring business standards are followed and best practices shared. • This Person will provide strategic direction & support for day-to-day activities as needed to deliver the priorities defined in the global product line strategy and local go to market strategy(s). Ensuring the Diesel product offering is relevant to local markets while maintaining Global Standards, ensuring global consistency and margin protection. • This person will play an important role in the overall strategic planning of the Product Line Strategy target of being “Fit to Compete” and identifying “commercial” business wins that support profitable and sustainable business growth across the three service solutions New Reman and Repair and provide focused strategy deployment for All-Makes range expansion / opportunities. This position is reporting to the Global Product Lead – Diesel (AFM) and will work cross-functionally with Global functions across all parts of the organization. Lead and support a new initiative focused on AFTERMARKET FOCUSSED PRODUCTION with our manufacturing plants which will increase First Time Pass Rates and Manufacturing Capacity that supports accelerated arrears recovery and availability improvement / Sales & Margin Growth. Opportunity Identification and Strategic direction for commercial strategy at part number level and/or wider range level for margin maximization via focused and intentional channel and product choice mix influence. Global lead for Commercial topics and Go-To-Market strategy support. Topics will include Pricing Strategy and Governance, Authorized Repair, Franchise / Parts Access, 3 Choice Product service solutions. Overall Project Mapping and Prioritisation across wider Diesel Global Product Team, including reporting, requirements to accelerate and risk escalation. Support market analysis / insight analysis of Tier1 OEM FIE and KDC activity to identify targeted opportunities and range gaps, keeping a focus on other current and future trends impacting Internal Combustion propulsion Support the ongoing development of Delphi’s Market Size Model tools and Global VIO data, using all data to analyze and identify opportunity for channel and product development. Support range management optimization working with Global Product Managers and Regional Category and Sales teams throughout the product lifecycle from Development through to End Of Life Sales/Category support – become the Commercial Subject Matter Expert to support regional Category and Sales teams. Communicate and collaborate with regional sales and marketing teams to support and share information required to promote and sell Diesel Repair Solutions and parts. Project & Change Management Skills – Demonstrable ability to develop & facilitate Global projects, within given parameters. Marketplace Acumen – Appreciation of marketplace dynamics and different routes to market within the Automotive sector preferred. Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and part of a wider global multi-cultural team with a keen attention to detail and ability to drive activity to meet deadlines. Collaboration – Ability to work within multi-functional teams Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude Excellent communication skills Language - English.
