Department: TCM - Thames Valley Employment Type: Full Time Location: Maidenhead Description The Programme Coordinator will play a key role in supporting project-level activities across infrastructure, estates, and operational transformation programmes. This role is ideal for an early-career professional or graduate looking to develop within programme and project management. The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, supporting programme governance, reporting, and coordination tasks. Key Responsibilities Programme Support: Provide administrative and coordination support to the Assistant Programme Managers and Senior Programme Manager. Governance & Compliance: Maintain governance records, ensuring key project documents are up to date and correctly filed. Data Entry & Reporting: Assist in maintaining project data in PACE, Smartsheet, and Power BI, supporting accurate reporting and tracking. Stakeholder Engagement: Support internal and external communications, coordinating meetings, workshops, and reporting deadlines. Risk & Issue Tracking: Assist in monitoring risks and issues at the project level, escalating concerns as needed. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to refining reporting processes and improving efficiency within the PMO. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Essential A keen interest in programme and project management, with a willingness to learn and develop. Strong organisational and communication skills, with attention to detail. Ability to work in a structured and process-driven environment while supporting multiple priorities. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and general IT literacy. A proactive mindset, with the ability to take initiative and seek guidance when needed. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. Desirable A degree or qualification in business, project management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Exposure to public sector estates, capital projects, or infrastructure programmes (through education, work experience, or internships). Familiarity with project tracking tools (Smartsheet, Power BI, or similar). An interest in project governance, reporting, and process improvement.
