As a Safeguarding Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the ongoing health and welfare of students across the academy, this includes the coordination of safeguarding referrals, arranging actions and reviewing services for children and families.
You will work directly with both in need students and their families to promote, strengthen and develop the support being provided by families and carers, this will also include liaising with external agencies to ensure all parties have the necessary and relevant information required.
Due to the nature of this role, applicants must have previous experience of working with children, families and external agencies, with previous experience of social services work being essential. Applicants must have a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection, with an ability to work in both a team as well as an individual.
Working pattern: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Term Time only + 15 days.
