Salary: £41,000 + London Weighting
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
7:00 AM - 3:00 PMATEX Certification Required
What You Will Enjoy Doing
As a valued member of our client's Morden Maintenance Team, you will play a vital role in maintaining equipment at their manufacturing facility that produces high-quality gas cylinders. These cylinders are essential to industries such as food preparation, pharmaceuticals, and many others.
In this hands-on position, you will be responsible for maintaining all plant and equipment, ensuring strict adherence to operating and safety procedures. You will also be involved in installing, commissioning, and maintaining plant and equipment on the cylinder filling site.
We are looking for a highly enthusiastic individual who is skilled in electrical and instrumentation maintenance. You will be expected to follow operating procedures carefully while upholding safety, health, quality, and environmental standards.
In addition, you'll work closely with production, maintenance, engineering, and contractors to plan and execute both planned preventative maintenance and defect maintenance activities.
What Makes You Great
Energetic, self-motivated, and disciplined.
Hold a Level 4 Apprenticeship (or equivalent trade experience) in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering.
ATEX qualified, and comfortable working in explosive atmospheres.
Previous experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or scientific environment is preferable.
Logical, systematic approach to problem-solving.
A team player with excellent communication skills and a good command of English.
