New job in Stirling for a Technical Manager - Electrical Benefits: - PAYE £23 p/h £3.46p/h £26.46p/h Books-in - paid weekly - Career opportunity - temp to perm - Location - Stirling, Scotland - No travelling, work from one location - Must be able to pass a Basic Disclosure or already have one - Working dayshift only - 8am-4pm Mon Thurs, Early finish on Friday - 37hrs pw About your new job in Stirling as Technical Manager - Electrical: - Lead a team of Maintenance Engineers and Administrators - As Technical Manager you'll manage team workloads and monitor and support the progress of planned and reactive maintenance work - You will undertake complex technical fault finding and ensure that all works comply with the relevant legislation including Electricity at Work, Building and Fire Regulations - Develop and deliver training plans and support to ensure competency and skill sets are maintained in your team. - Ensure all finances are managed in line with budget - Ensure health and safety issues are considered when planning and executing works by the team - Manage risk assessments, method statements and permits to work - Responsible for managing, monitoring, and reporting on the performance of local and national maintenance contracts. About you: - Qualified to SVQ Level 3 or above - Have a current electrical qualification - 18th Edition - Experience in the installation, repair, maintenance, test and inspection of electrical systems in an industrial /commercial environment. This includes experience of providing support, direction and leadership to others carrying out similar electrical bias works. - Excellent organisational skills, demonstrating your ability to prioritise, forward plan and manage competing demands to ensure outputs are delivered on time. This should include works for internal resources and local / national contracts. - Experience of using computer systems to monitor and plan workloads. - Sound knowledge of relevant legislation including Health & Safety, Safe Systems of Work, Electricity at Work, Building and Fire Regulations and working to BS7671. - You'll be excellent at problem-solving with the ability to provide practical and creative solutions to a range of resourcing and technical issues. - You must be able to pass a basic disclosure or already have one.
