2025 Summer Placement – Construction Management – Public Sector & Lifesciences – Construction – Cambridge
At Mace, we are global consultants in programme and project delivery, and construction experts. We help lead the way to a more connected, resilient, and sustainable future. Through our two business ‘engines’ – Consult and Construct – we bring to life iconic skyscrapers, state-of-the-art data centres, life science facilities, social infrastructure, and regeneration projects that support communities across the world.
The opportunity

Location: Cambridge
Sector: Public Sector & Lifesciences
Engine: Construct
We’re on the edge of a revolution in how we build – one that could help us transform our society, delivering more productive public services. With new construction technology and processes, we can build better hospitals, schools, offices and public spaces; and in turn create better outcomes for everyone.
In our ‘Construct’ engine, you’ll be at the forefront of bringing projects to life. Primarily site-based, this engine focuses on the hands-on delivery of complex and innovative construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards. If you enjoy working in a practical environment where your efforts lead to visible results, Construct is the place for you.

What we can offer you
Our 10-week Summer Placement programme offers structured on-the-job training and real responsibility from day one. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, receive ongoing support from skilled mentors, and gain exposure to various areas of our business.
