Job Title: Learning Support Assistant Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Hazel Grove Job Type: Contract, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £89 - £99 Per day Job Description: Job Duties: Provide support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities Assist in the implementation of individual education plans Support classroom teachers in delivering lessons Help students with personal care needs if required Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience working with children or vulnerable individuals Knowledge of special educational needs Education: Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Experience: Experience in a similar role within an educational setting Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Patience and empathy when working with students Preferred Qualifications: First Aid Certification Training in safeguarding and child protection Working Conditions: Working hours typically follow the school timetable May require some physical activity such as assisting students with mobility Working in a classroom environment with potential exposure to noise All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
